LingLock does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. Nothing you do in the app is sent anywhere.
Your language preference and phrase progress are stored only on your device (and synced only between the LingLock app and its widget, via Apple's local App Group storage). This data never leaves your device and is never transmitted to any server, because LingLock has no server.
When you tap the speaker icon on a phrase, LingLock uses Apple's on-device text-to-speech engine to read it aloud. This happens entirely on your device and is not sent to Apple or anyone else.
Since LingLock collects no data from anyone, it does not knowingly collect data from children either.
If this policy ever changes — for example, if a future version of the app adds a feature that requires network access — this page will be updated and the "Last updated" date above will reflect that.
