Frequently asked questions

How often does the phrase change?

Every 3 hours, automatically — no need to open the app.

How do I switch languages?

Open LingLock → Settings tab → pick a language. The widget updates within a few seconds.

Why doesn't the speaker icon work for Georgian?

Apple's on-device text-to-speech doesn't currently support Georgian. Every other language in the app (Spanish, French, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, German, Hindi) has full voice support. LingLock still shows Georgian phrases with correct native script and pronunciation guide — it just can't be spoken aloud yet.

The widget isn't updating — what do I do?

Try reopening the LingLock app once, which refreshes the widget. If that doesn't help, remove and re-add the widget from the widget gallery.

Does LingLock need an internet connection?

No. LingLock works entirely offline — phrases, translations, and pronunciation are all stored on your device.
